ECO and APDIM exchanged ideas about closer cooperation on disaster risk reduction (DRR) in the ECO Region, one of the most disaster-prone regions of the world.
The ECO Secretary General had a bilateral meeting with the Director of the Asia Pacific Centre for the Development of Disaster Information Management (APDIM) – ESCAP. Both sides exchanged ideas about fostering closer cooperation on disaster risk reduction in the ECO Region, which faces sand and dust storms, earthquakes and floods.
